About the Piece

The title is taken from Blade Runner’s famous soliloquy, ad libbed by Rutger Hauer as replicant, Roy Batty. Inspired by the film’s neon and metallic-soaked, neo-noir atmosphere, this two-tone screen print evokes the faded glamour of future-present 2019 Los Angeles and the ambivalent tone of Ridley Scott’s dystopian masterpiece.
