Nathan Lowry is an Irish artist based in Co. Dublin, Ireland. His work is primarily concentrated on figural painting. His preferred medium is acrylic paint with which he uses a contemporary and organic approach. His work gives a glimpse into the everyday lives of individuals who are navigating the world around them.

As part of the LGBTQ+ community, his focus has been on the lack of representation of varying aspects of life such as romantic art or scenes with subliminal references to affection. As a gay person, It is a personal goal of his to subvert negative associations of societal prejudice aimed at people with diverse backgrounds.
His work has been shown by prominent art establishments such as the Royal Hibernian Academy. He has been featured in art columns and journals. He also took part in heat
one of the popular portraiture competition ' Sky's Portrait Artist of the Year' 2022.
