Niamh McCarthy is a digital illustrator from Cork. She studied Visual Communications, in MTU, where she found her love for illustration. Since graduating, Niamh has started her own business and online shop, Yellow Lion Studio, where she sells her illustrations as prints and creates custom pieces for her customers. Her illustrations are all hand-drawn digitally and tend to be colourful and vibrant, inspired by nature, travels, food and everyday surroundings. The focus of her work currently leans into celebrating Ireland and creating work that showcases the Irish things we all know and love, the food, the drinks, the funny phrases, the traditions and the home comforts.
